ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Panther Valley Community Center(Owner) 47 West Ridge Street Lansford, PA 18232(Address)Separate sealed BIDS for the construction of (briefly describe nature, scope, and major elements of the work)Two Sealed Bids:First Sealed Bid:Design / Bid / Build Specifications for the : Exterior Renovations: The exterior renovations project is a Design-Build project where the bidder is responsible for completing limited concept designs after consultation with the Owner/Owner’s Representative, applying for building permits and providing the design improvements. The work generally includes the renovation in a design build format, for the demolition of the bell tower and other exterior elements to be capped and made watertight and airtight from exterior conditions using acceptable means and construction to obtain a final product. The existing building is no change of use.Bidders are hereby notified that this project is subject to the PA State Prevailing Wage Rate regulations and Contractors will be required to pay the prevailing wage as indicated within the schedules and submit certified payrolls for their employees and sub-contractors on a weekly basis.Second Sealed Bid:The interior renovations project is a Design-Build project where the bidder is responsible for completing limited concept designs after consultation with the Owner/Owner’s Representative, applying for building permits and providing the design improvements. Bid Approval will remain private under Owner’s discretion. Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope with the Contract Name clearly written on the envelope.The CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations:Project site, 47 West Ridge Street Lansford, PA 18232.Copies of the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be obtained:All requests for Bid Documents must be in writing or via e-mail to mark@convillearchitect.com. Bid package will be distributed electronically. Bidders shall complete and return the Bidder Information Sheet provided with the Bid Package.Payment of a non-refundable service fee, in check or money order in the amount of thirty dollars ($30.00), payable to Mark G. Conville, Architect, LLC is required for each set of digital bidding documents.Addenda, if any, will be issued only to those persons whose name and address are on record with the Project Architect as having obtained the Contract Documents from the Project Architect and participated in the mandatory pre-bid conference.
